Live to Web Weather Monitoring using the LUFFT WS 600

LiveMET is based upon the Lufft WS 600 multi-parameter weather station. It provides essential weather data for noise and/or dust measurements but it is capable of much more.

LiveMET has a comprehensive, logic-based limit setting system which provides e-mail alerts for user-selectable weather conditions including windspeed, wind direction, and/or whether it is raining.

LiveMET gives access to real-time weather conditions and a permanent record of the weather conditions at the sensor location.

Ultrasonic Wind Detection

Wind speed and direction are measured by ultrasonic sensors.

Sophisticated Precipitation Monitoring

The Doppler radar based system provides precipitation rate and precipitation type (rain, hail or snow for example).

Sensors with No Moving Parts

No cup anemometer and no tipping buckets. Quiet sensor technology ideal for noise monitoring.

Electronic Compass

The built in electronic compass avoids the hassle and errors associated with trying to estimate the north point on site.

Can be an Add-On to Live Leq or LivePM10

The units can be plugged in to a suitable Live Leq or LivePM10 system with no requirement for separate power or subscription.

Comprehensive Meteorological Data

Windspeed, wind direction, precipitation rate and type, temperature, pressure, relative humidity and dew point.

Robust Data Security

Data stored to a dedicated Raid 10 server and mirror server in UK data centre backed up at least once a day. Additional copy of the data on a micro-SD card.

Real-Time

The system continuously uploads data to the website at a maximum update rate of up to once per minute.

Convenient Mounting Option

The unit can be provided with a mount for a 25mm outer diameter pole.

LiveMET is an easy and intuitive live-to-web weather monitoring system. It’s also reliable, both in terms of hardware and data security. LiveMET provides real-time live weather information and gives access to a permanent record of the weather conditions at the monitoring location.

LiveMET can send out e-mail alerts when the wind is in a specified direction, when it is raining and/or when the wind speed exceeds a user-selected value for example. The current and historic weather data is simply and clearly displayed on LiveMET including wind roses.

LivePM10 dust monitors can be linked to LiveMET weather monitors. Wind speed and direction and pollution roses are then shown on the dust monitoring web page together with the particulate concentrations.
